If you are a woman of a certain age and wonder what it would be like to take off to France for an indeterminate amount of time, this is an enlightening read. Of course, one needs a reason to drop everything and go,  and for Marilyn Pearsol Giorgetti, it was a divorce after 30 years of marriage and a few financial surprises that had her questioning what to do with the rest of her life. Her sojourn in Nice, then Paris  not only reinvigorate her but establish whole new sense of identity and purpose.
